       As a professor, facilitator, trainer and Key note speaker

o      The Creative Power (2007-2009): Design and delivery of multiple workshops for adults to enhance  creativity in the workplace, and personal lives of individuals at a personal level,  government agencies such as  the Environment Protection Agency (EPA), Region 6, Department of Homeland Security, Non profit organizations such as: GDHCC, AWUU, MEJ, and  designd and delivered creativity workshops for children such as in CISD and summer youth programs in Coppell, TX.
o      The frame project  (2007-2009): Assisting clients to go true a creative process and create a piece of art with found objects.
o      La Reunion TX (2007-2009): Teaching art technique classes and Art field orientation to disadvantaged young women.
o      NPR – KERA (2006): Key note speaker for The Glenn Mitchell Show on “The Forgotten Flower” Art exhibit

   As an Artist and Fashion Designer

o      Visual Artist - National, regional and local Touring  Artist (2003-2009): Narrative and conceptual artist focusing in the advocacy for current women and social issues

o      Consultant in Fashion Forecasting (1993-1995):Created a publication, Gather information of latest trends, and gave workshops to textile manufacturer's clientele in Latin American, over one hundred manufacturers clients  and sales associates

o      Fashion  Designer (1989-1993) : Designed and marketed fashion lines in swimmwear, childrenswear and ready- to-wear apparel. Created Haute-couture line for Miami Beach boutique, and dressed high executives women in Bogota- Colombia

 

  As a volunteer of  Outreach programas

o      HWNT-Hispanic Women  Network of Texas (2008-2009): Social initiative chair: WIN (Women in Need) -  which focuses on battered women. Designed and coordinated  seven modules , and delivered  the ”Mapping your Goals” module.

o      Booker T. Washington school of the Arts, Dallas TX, (2009) – Mentored a music cluster student, for a year, to succesfully transition into the private schooling system.
